Russian intelligence becomes aware of the planned series of tracts in Russia, which should be organized by the Arab mercenary Abu Jalid. It also becomes known when and where Abu Jalid will cross the border with a group of 10 militants. To eliminate Abu Jalid, a Makar intelligence officer is sent to the Caucasus - he is the only one who knows what Abu Jalid recently underwent plastic surgery looks like. Major Bodrov, an experienced sniper with many years of experience in mountain operations, will accompany Makar to the target site. Bodrov is the group’s commander, he has been living in the mountains for ten years, so he has many connections with local “guides” and his plan for a special operation to eliminate Abu Jalib. Makar refuses to follow Bodrov’s plan, he considers him a traitor.
