A trip through moments of life from the perspective of different girls, teens, women all living, dreaming, visiting, working in the city of Bangkok, Thailand. The sprawling metropolis of Siam takes on the role of backdrop & principle character. Bangkok, the spinning capital of a third world country, where one can purchase a Maserati in the shopping mall. Where the world's longest ruling monarch smiles from billboards, where women are dripping in Chanel or just making a living servicing the constant onslaught of international sex tourists & everything in between. The narrative and images shine a light upon female voices, not often heard. I hope to independently raise their voices. Perhaps SIAM is best described as: female protest meets a love letter to Bangkok
