Checking Out is a thoughtful and timely comedy dealing with the quality of life of the elderly and the impact it has on their family. Based on a Broadway play by Allen Swift, the story surrounds a feisty ninety-two year old grandfather who goes to extremes to re-unite his family in New York City.
