Astrid Silverlock's father is missing after an ambush on a mission to restore the Staff of Virtues to its rightful home and Astrid sets out on a quest to find her father and complete his task. It's a perilous journey which tests her to the limit, forces her to prove herself as a young woman and in which she discovers the power of the truth in becoming a great leader.
