剧情介绍

当一个人故去之后，亲人们面对他生前的什物，可以记起与其共度的美好时光。那么，当一个国家消失以后，它的人民又能面对什么纪念那个曾经生活过的国度呢？
　　导演Oscar Hudson与摄影师Ruben Woodin-Dechamps共同执导的纪录片《第二世界》给出了一个独特的答案：对前南斯拉夫的人民而言，这种纪念的载体正是一座座纪念碑。
　　“这些是烈士们的纪念碑，纪念被枪杀的学生，甚至战争本身。我们南斯拉夫的纪念碑前无古人。我可以告诉你，最富有创造力的自由时代，就是铁托时代。”
　　“如果一个国家不尊重历史，那就是在葬送自己的未来。”随着一座座纪念碑被忽略、毁坏和遗忘，一个国家的历史也逐渐消失在这些荒芜的山丘与原野间。

　　Set across the former Yugoslavia, 'A Second World' explores the consequences and symbolic legacy of a nation's collapse. The film places the story of Ljuba Stojanovic, an elderly Serbian man who communicates with a communist-utopian alien world; in parallel with a series of epic & beautiful, yet largely abandoned Yugoslavian war monuments. Taken together, the two stories intertwine the personal with the national to expose the vivid sense of loss, disillusionment & nostalgia that permeates the Balkans and the people who live there.
