Contemporary art collector Martín Solo – the first to discover Richard Weismann – takes on the challenge of introducing the world to his unique vision of art by opening his private museum in Madrid to the public. To do this, Martín prepares a retrospective of Mu Pan. This Taiwanese, Brooklyn-based artist is his latest discovery. His works criticize and reflect the violence and brutality of society. They are filled with intricate battle scenes featuring people, animals and mysterious beasts. Martín feels he failed with Weismann, but this time he is prepared to lay all of his cards on the table. Taking over a year to make, this documentary brings us into the contemporary art world through Martín Solo’s particular vision. It also asks about who Richard Weismann, whose discovery launched Martín’s career as a collector, really is.
